Getting started
The first time you open TimeCloser it asks for calendar access (to see your commitments and book sessions) and notifications (to remind you of each session). You can change them later in Settings › Permissions.
Set your sleep (weekdays and weekends): it is the most important time of all and TimeCloser never plans over it.
Check your planning hours in Settings › Planning: the parts of the day when you accept sessions, and the daily limit.
Creating goals
Tap + and pick a template, start from scratch or, with Apple Intelligence, describe your goal: “learn Spanish 3 hours a week, in the mornings”.
A goal can be a weekly pace (hours or times per week) or a total by a date. Set the session length, priority, demand and, if you like, preparation and wrap-up time.
Before saving, Impact on your schedule simulates next week with your real calendar: how much fits, which goals would lose time and what amount is realistic.
Plan and bookings
Plan is your summary: what needs attention, suggested sessions and what is next. Book one suggestion or all of them with one tap; they go to your calendar.
If a suggestion does not suit you, discard it and TimeCloser finds another slot. If you move an event in Calendar, it respects it.
When a session ends it asks whether you did it: done, partly or not. Progress only counts what you log.
Today's focus
Write up to three priorities for today. If you try to add a fourth, choose: replace one, move it to tomorrow or keep it in the inbox.
Below you see one risk (for example a goal that will miss its date, or an invitation that breaks your focus block) and one action with high impact.
Note for later keeps what you do not want to decide now. Sort it in the inbox: today's priority, goal, idea or discard. With Apple Intelligence, TimeCloser suggests how to sort each note.
Your real schedule
In Plan, Your real schedule shows how many meetings you have this week, how long they take and how much team capacity they use (length × attendees).
It lists invitations to answer with their cost and warns you if they clash with your sessions, break your only 90-minute block or fall on protected time.
What if I accept…? simulates an invitation or a hypothetical commitment: sessions you would move, overlaps, how the day's load changes and which goals lose time that week. TimeCloser never answers invitations for you.
Living goals
A Living goal is a dated goal made of parts: hours per week (“Lessons, 2 h 30 min”), times per week (“Practice, 2 × 30 min”) or a total count.
TimeCloser plans each part and compares your progress with the pace you need. If you fall behind, it offers a recovery plan with concrete slots in the next 7 days.
Statistics and “What holds you back”
Statistics shows your weekly completion, your best time of day and your streak (with grace weeks).
What holds you back only speaks when there is enough data: days with too many meetings, times that change a lot, sessions longer than what you really do, or unlogged. Each pattern comes with one concrete change.
Siri and Shortcuts
“What do I have today in TimeCloser”, “I have free time in TimeCloser” (offers to book the time you have now), “Protect time in TimeCloser” and “Make a note in TimeCloser”.
They also appear in the Shortcuts app to combine with your automations. Anything that writes to your calendar asks for confirmation.
Useful settings
Automatic decisions: let TimeCloser move your sessions when a meeting clashes, or adjust the plan for you. Every change is announced and can be undone for 48 hours.
Protected time: blocks (family, rest) never used for planning. Health and energy: a lighter plan after a bad night.
Backup: export and restore your data in a file. Calendar per goal and discreet title (“Reserved time”) for what you would rather not show.
Subscription
The free plan schedules one goal. TimeCloser Pro unlocks everything and includes one free month.
Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or in TimeCloser › Settings › TimeCloser Pro. On a new iPhone, use “Restore purchases”.
